Galerie Delacroix in Tangier presents Accords and Dissonances, an exhibition pairing Safaa Erruas and Ghislaine Portalis, from 30 October to 30 December 2026. Curated by Nadine Gayet Descendre, the project investigates tenderness and its unsettling contradictions.
For Safaa Erruas, white thread and meticulous gestures become artistic language. Her installation Continuum proposes a spatial path that visitors can physically experience. In Ghislaine Portalis's work, apparent softness conceals unease, raising questions about domestic life, the feminine, intimacy and silent forms of cruelty.
Viewed together, the works reveal fragile materials as powerful tools for addressing memory, vulnerability and tension. The opening takes place on Friday 30 October at 7:30pm, with free admission. The exhibition remains on view until 30 December.
