About this event
The Instituto Cervantes in Tangier organises its ‘Pequeños lectores’ programme for children aged 4 to 9. Led by Gabriela Carreño at the Juan Goytisolo Library, it combines storytelling, illustrated books, listening, discussion and complementary activities. The programme encourages reading for pleasure, curiosity, language awareness and a love of stories from an early age. Sessions take place at 99 Avenue Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah. Admission is free for library members, subject to capacity.
**This week's story: I'm So Scared!** — Blanca Lacasa and Lorenzo Montatore's illustrated story tackles common childhood fears, from the dark and strange noises to dental visits and public speaking. Poetry, rhymes and humour make room for sharing feelings and laughter, supporting emotional expression among young readers.
