Hundreds of candles transform Barceló Tangier into an intimate setting for a string-quartet journey through Hans Zimmer’s film music. Atlas Quartet performs themes from Inception, Interstellar, Dune, Gladiator, The Lion King, The Dark Knight, Sherlock Holmes and Pirates of the Caribbean.
Rather than reproducing the original orchestral scale, the Candlelight format brings listeners closer to the musical architecture of each score: repeating motifs, dramatic tension, melodic lines and rhythmic pulse emerge clearly through the quartet arrangements. The concert lasts approximately sixty minutes. Doors open thirty minutes before the performance and late entry is not permitted. The experience is open to audiences aged eight and above; guests under sixteen must be accompanied by an adult.
