A new reading of Cinderella
Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo bring Jean-Christophe Maillot’s Cinderella to Rabat on 4 and 5 February 2027. The choreographer reinterprets the fairy tale through grief, the complexities of a blended family and the search for love beyond appearances.
Music and visual design
Cinderella’s simplicity and bare foot contrast with the vanity of the world around her. The ballet uses Sergei Prokofiev’s music, set design by Ernest Pignon-Ernest, costumes by Jérôme Kaplan and lighting by Dominique Drillot.

Thursday 4 and Friday 5 February 2027 at the Royal Theatre of Rabat, Bouregreg Valley. The official Ballets de Monte-Carlo tour confirms both dates. Performance times, ticket prices and local booking details have not yet been announced; times from other tour locations should not be assumed.
