About this event
Four performers move through a techno-urban environment where familiar steps gradually lose their original sensuality and become precise mechanisms. Movements are cut into patterns, rhythms tighten and smiles turn almost artificial, creating tension between the collective pleasure of dancing and the possibility of movement emptied of emotion.
Created by Nicolò Abbattista and Christian Consalvo, “dancehALL” asks what remains of dance when it is reduced to exercise, rhythm and repetition. The piece reflects on the body in an age shaped by mechanisation while preserving a deeply social dimension: sharing space, tempo and trajectory with other bodies.
Winner of the Danza Urbana XL 2025 award, the original cast features Arianna Cunsolo, Francesca Lastella, Enrico Luly and Nicoletta Bellazzi. In Rabat, the work is scheduled for Tuesday 13 October at 7:30 pm in the INSMAC patio as part of the RCC 2026 Rabat programme.
