Émile, the determined young hero of a series of picture books, comes to the stage through ten short stories. His distinctive imagination transforms everyday life as he encounters others, faces small challenges and gradually grows. The theatrical adaptation draws on the books' visual world to celebrate childhood with humour and poetry.
