About this event
Live Magazine comes to Fès on December 11, 2026 at 7:00 pm at Centre Kan Ya Makan Rdda with a hybrid format bringing together journalism, storytelling, performance and live music.
The concept turns a magazine into a stage show: journalists, photographers, writers, artists and filmmakers appear one after another to tell true stories drawn from investigations, personal experience or social realities. Each story functions as a “page” in the magazine, creating an ephemeral live review that exists only in the moment.
A defining feature of the format is that the programme remains secret until the performance begins and no recording is made. The lack of an archive creates a direct relationship between the storytellers and the audience in the room.
In Fès, the stories are rooted in Moroccan realities and explore social issues, individual journeys, memory and imagination. Live music accompanies the narratives, giving each story its own rhythm and atmosphere.
The event is organised by the Institut français in Fès in partnership with Centre Kan Ya Makan Rdda. It offers an unusual way of experiencing journalism: not as printed or screen-based content, but as a collective, oral and theatrical event.
