About this event

Tangier’s Kasbah Museum – Contemporary Art Space hosts “Ne tenir qu’à un fil”, a major solo exhibition by Mohamed Lekleti, through 30 November 2026. Part of Saison Méditerranée 2026, the project is presented by Morocco’s National Museums Foundation and the Institut français in collaboration with Frac Occitanie Montpellier, and curated by Abdelaziz El Idrissi.

Lekleti is a leading figure in contemporary drawing whose work moves between Morocco and France. Hybrid bodies, hands, threads, maps, ritual objects and images of authority recur across drawings, paintings, sculptures and site-specific interventions. The exhibition explores domination, displacement, memory and the unstable condition of living between territories and languages.
