About this event
On Saturday 31 October 2026 at 7:30pm, Tangier Cinémathèque hosts Horror Night featuring two recent French productions announced by the French Institute: Joachim Hérissé's animated short La Robe peau and Marion Le Coroller's feature Sanguine.
In the 15-minute La Robe peau, an ageing tailor and his wife become entangled in the creation of a dress with horrifying consequences. Sanguine, running 103 minutes, follows young medical intern Margot as patients develop strange symptoms and unsettling changes begin to appear on her own body. The social body-horror film was selected for the 2026 Cannes midnight screenings and is recommended for ages 16 and above.
The French Institute lists both films at Cinéma Rif on 31 October at 7:30pm, with 40 MAD admission; the precise order or combined-screening arrangements should be checked with the venue. A limited number of Pass Jeunes invitations may be available.
