Hôtel de la paix — Free Moroccan Horror Film Screening, El Jadida
Karim and Mouna are celebrating their marriage and the renovation of their hotel in Marrakech when a plumber discovers an unfamiliar object hidden inside the walls. Violent tremors and supernatural incidents soon transform the building into a place of fear. The couple's attempt to recover the missing object leads them towards frightening secrets, while the mysterious forces inside the hotel appear to grow stronger. Director Jamal Belmejdoub combines the familiar atmosphere of a Moroccan hotel with the unsettling language of supernatural cinema.
Programme and admission
The 87-minute Moroccan horror thriller stars Mohammed Choubi, Benaissa El Jirari, Sami Fekkak and Salwa Zarhane. It is performed in Darija with French subtitles and recommended for ages 12 and over. The screening shares the Night of Horror programme with Joachim Hérissé’s short « La Robe peau ». Wednesday 28 October 2026, programme from 7 pm, Théâtre de la Cité portugaise, El Jadida.
