Kamal Swaroop’s 1988 cult film arrives in Marrakech in a restored version as part of FILMINDIA. Om-Dar-B-Dar rejects linear storytelling, bringing mythology, science, popular magic, satire, music and fragments of daily life into a free and deliberately disorienting cinematic structure. Built through associations, abrupt shifts of tone, symbolic images and absurd humour, the film provides a rare encounter with radical Indian parallel cinema and experimental filmmaking outside commercial distribution. Hindi with English subtitles; 101 minutes. Free admission with mandatory advance booking. Screening at 7:00 PM in the Pierre Bergé Auditorium.
