The Yves Saint Laurent Museum Marrakech brings together several cultural functions in a contemporary building near the Jardin Majorelle. Its permanent display presents the designer’s work through garments, sketches, photographs, films and audiovisual material, highlighting his connections with Morocco, Africa, art and imaginary journeys.

The Pierre Bergé Auditorium

The Pierre Bergé Auditorium is the museum’s screening and performance venue. Designed for cinema, recitals, conferences, symposia and broadcasts, it presents programmes connecting film heritage, contemporary creation and cultural transmission.

Film cycles are a central part of its activity, including original-language screenings, restored works, thematic seasons and programmes for younger audiences. Some screenings are free, with booking requirements varying from one event to another.

A multi-purpose cultural institution

The museum includes a permanent exhibition space of around 400 square metres, a temporary gallery, a research library holding more than 5,000 volumes, a bookshop, a café and an auditorium. Fashion is placed in dialogue with cinema, photography, design, architecture, music and literature.
