About this event

On Saturday 23 January 2027 at 8 pm, Rabat's Zénith Center hosts Othamane Benmoumen and Aziza El Meknassia for an evening devoted to Aissawa music from Meknes.

Othamane Benmoumen leads his Aissawa Meknassia ensemble, drawing on a living musical heritage of collective singing, percussion and spiritual expression. Guest singer Aziza El Meknassia joins them for a programme honouring traditional songs and intergenerational transmission. The evening highlights the continuing presence of Aissawa culture on Morocco’s stages.

Practical information: Saturday 23 January 2027, 8 pm, Zénith Center, Avenue Al Eucalypthus, Rabat. Tickets: 200 MAD balcony, 300 MAD orchestra, 350 MAD VIP. Confirmed by the organiser’s event list and Activityz; a stable direct poster URL is still needed.
