American Language Center Meknes

## Identity and non-profit status **American Language Center Meknes** belongs to the independent non-profit **American Cultural Association**, promoting Moroccan–American understanding through **language, culture, ideas and shared opportunities**. The centre announced the inauguration of a **new campus on 3 October 2026**, featuring an official opening ceremony and cultural celebrations. Its current website prints **3 bis Rue Monton**, while the network’s central directory still lists **4 bis Rue Monton**; visitors should confirm the correct entrance to the new premises. ## Libraries, workshops and cultural activities The centre reports **over 150 classes per week**, approximately **6,500 students each year** and **more than 20 weekly clubs**. These are institution-reported figures. Education is accompanied by **cultural clubs, community service, workshops and intercultural activities**, offering more than conventional English lessons. Academic provision covers young children, teenagers and adults, language-test preparation and an **English teaching-training programme** using observation and supervised practice. ## 2026 updates, courses and access The **October 2026 campus opening** is the major current development. Separate from classes, **a detailed forthcoming public arts calendar was not verified** in the reviewed sources. Course fees and reception hours depend on the programme and should be confirmed before enrolling. Contact **+212 535 52 36 36** or **admin.meknes@acamorocco.org** for the new-campus entrance, especially because the official sources differ on street numbering.
