The Cinémathèque de Tanger presents a heritage programme of thirteen short films directed by Alice Guy between 1898 and 1907. The screening offers an opportunity to revisit the beginnings of cinematic fiction through the work of a pioneer who explored staging, narrative, visual tricks and the expressive possibilities of the new medium from its earliest years. This collection of short works provides rare access to a period of film history often reduced to a small number of male figures. One screening only, on Thursday 23 July 2026 at 5 pm at the Grand Socco.
