About this event
Microscopic reactions become cosmic imagery
« Alliance Cosmique » is an immersive audiovisual performance in which visual artist Symbiose and musician IUNI build a live conversation between images and music. Symbiose mixes liquids and chemical substances in front of a camera, capturing their shifting shapes, colours and reactions and projecting them onto a large screen. IUNI accompanies these moving images with a live soundscape combining piano, voice, synthesisers, electronic textures and neoclassical influences. Small-scale reactions create the impression of galaxies, landscapes and living cells, turning a few droplets into a journey from the microscopic to the cosmic.
Live music meets experimental visual art
Rather than relying on pre-rendered animation, the artists develop a form of liquid art based on physical reactions taking place in real time. Each moment emerges from the interaction between material, sound and the performers' decisions, creating a distinct sensory experience. Produced by Super Organique, the dialogue-free performance is accessible across languages. It belongs to the tenth edition of Digital November, organised by the Institut français du Maroc under the theme « Between the Lines », encouraging audiences to reconsider the connections between technology, creativity and the natural world.
