The Moroccan Philharmonic Orchestra opens its anniversary season in Casablanca with “Beethoven the Exalted” on October 9 and 10, 2026 at 8 pm at Théâtre de l’Hermitage.

The season marks both the orchestra’s 30th anniversary and the bicentenary of Ludwig van Beethoven’s death. The opening programme combines the Piano Concerto No. 3 in C minor, Op. 37 with the Symphony No. 7 in A major, Op. 92.

Dina Bensaïd appears as pianist and conductor with the Moroccan Philharmonic Orchestra, bringing Beethoven’s concerto writing into dialogue with the rhythmic force of the Seventh Symphony.

Two identical Casablanca performances are scheduled: Friday, October 9 and Saturday, October 10 at 8 pm.

Tickets range from 100 MAD for students to 300 MAD for category 1, subject to availability.
