Hermitage Theatre Casablanca

## Opening and location Hermitage Theatre opened on 15 May 2026 on Avenue de Nador in Casablanca, near the regional cultural administration. The venue is also described as a Regional Centre for Music and Choreographic Art. Delivered with Casa Aménagement as part of a public cultural infrastructure programme, the development involved an announced investment of approximately 50 million Moroccan dirhams. Its opening season began with a Moroccan Andalusian music festival. ## Auditorium and facilities The auditorium holds around 600 spectators. A digital control room, professional sound equipment, LED stage lighting and a cinema projection system support a range of activities. The cultural programme accommodates concerts, theatre, conferences and planned cinema screenings. Music and dance training are also part of the broader cultural centre project. ## Recorded performances In September 2026 the Moroccan group Nass El Ghiwane performed at the theatre. On 9 and 10 October 2026 the Moroccan Philharmonic Orchestra presented Beethoven l’Exalté, including Beethoven’s Third Piano Concerto and Seventh Symphony with Dina Bensaïd. The programme illustrates the venue’s use for orchestral music, Moroccan repertoires and staged performances. ## Visitor information Location: Avenue de Nador, Casablanca 20250, as indicated by the Moroccan Philharmonic Orchestra.
