Abdessamad El Kenfaoui Cultural Complex – Casablanca

## History and cultural identity The **Abdessamad El Kenfaoui Cultural Complex** is a performing-arts venue in Casablanca appearing in theatre and university-festival programmes. It must not be confused with the **Kenfaoui Room inside Rabat's Mohammed V National Theatre**, a different site, or with the **Grand Théâtre Ben M'Sik**. Similar names should not lead to incorrect venue mapping or duplicated event listings. ## Architecture, facilities and programming The complex was used during the **38th International Festival of University Theatre of Casablanca (FITUC)** in July **2026**. Programmes place **“The People of the Land”** there on 7 July and **“The School for Wives”**, presented by Rome's Sapienza University, on 8 July at 7:30 pm. The festival demonstrates the role of local stages in hosting international student theatre and exchange. Published sources do not reliably establish its auditorium capacity or full technical specifications, so no unsupported seating figure is included. ## Artistic events and audiences September **2026** listings include **“Dialectique”** on 10 September, **“En présence de Cheikh Google”** on the 12th and **“Le Chien de l'Ambassadeur”** on the 13th. Third-party event listings give **Place de la Ligue Arabe** as the venue location, but a management-issued address and entrance details remain to be confirmed. Visitors should therefore obtain directions from the organiser.
