On Wednesday 25 November 2026 at 3 pm, the Institut français in El Jadida screens A Monkey’s Tale (Le Château des singes), a 1999 animated film by Jean-François Laguionie.
After a catastrophe, two communities of monkeys live apart, one in the treetops and the other among the rocks. Young Kom ventures into the forbidden world below the canopy and discovers a society he had been taught to fear. The family adventure explores curiosity, prejudice and meeting others.
