Espace Rivages at the Hassan II Foundation for Moroccans Living Abroad presents an exhibition devoted to Hassan Kouhen, a Moroccan-American artist born in Fez in 1955 and based in the United States.
Developed over several decades, his practice has been shaped by artistic research and by the different cultures encountered throughout his career. This Rabat exhibition reads as a return to the foundational images and references that continue to inform his work.
The exhibition reflects Espace Rivages’ mission to highlight Moroccan artists living abroad and to build bridges between their international trajectories and Morocco’s cultural scene.
