Mahmoud Darwish Poetry Day pays tribute to one of the major voices of contemporary Arabic poetry. Continuing the Poetry Day initiative launched by the Centre Pompidou and developed with the Institut du monde arabe, the event brings together readings, conversations and performances around a body of work shaped by exile, memory, identity and freedom.
