The Moroccan Cinematographic Centre has officially postponed the 26th Moroccan National Film Festival in Tangier to March 2027, instead of the originally announced October 23–31, 2026 dates.
The CCM says the decision responds to requests from professional organisations and industry stakeholders, especially concerns about the high concentration of film events in October and possible calendar conflicts for Moroccan films and professionals.
The edition is still expected to include competitions for feature fiction, shorts, documentaries and cinema-school films, alongside a Panorama section and professional activities.
Exact March 2027 dates have not yet been announced. Culturama therefore does not assign an artificial day.
