The Moroccan National Film Festival returns to Tangier from October 23 to 31, 2026 for its 26th edition. Organised by the Moroccan Cinematographic Centre, the festival is one of the country’s main spaces for showcasing, assessing and discussing recent Moroccan film production.
The 2026 edition will include competitions for fiction features, fiction and documentary shorts, feature documentaries, and films from cinema schools and institutes. A Panorama section will present works not selected for the official competitions, while parallel activities will encourage exchange between directors, producers, technicians, critics, students and institutions. The selected films, venues, schedules and access details will be added following their official announcement.
