About this event

The Institut français in Oujda presents a “Night of Horror” on October 30, 2026 at City Parc, with a double programme dedicated to horror and supernatural cinema.

The evening starts at 8:00 pm, followed by the French animated short “La Robe peau” by Joachim Hérissé. The film follows Jean, an ageing nostalgic tailor whose world changes after a macabre event inspires a creation that is as beautiful as it is monstrous.

At 8:20 pm, the programme continues with “Hôtel de la paix”, a Moroccan supernatural thriller directed by Jamal Belmejdoub. In Marrakech, Karim and Mouna are celebrating their marriage and the renovation of their hotel when a mysterious object discovered inside the walls triggers a series of disturbing events. The cast includes Mohammed Choubi, Benaissa El Jirari, Sami Fekkak and Salwa Zarhane.

“Hôtel de la paix” runs for 1 hour 27 minutes and is screened in Darija with French subtitles. The event forms part of a wider Institut français du Maroc horror programme touring several Moroccan cities.

Oujda prices: 20 MAD for the general public, 10 MAD for members and partners, and free admission for learners and Passe Jeunes holders.
