About this event
The story follows Lina, Salma and Nour, three women whose friendship began in childhood and was sealed by a promise made in an abandoned garden in Oujda around an old olive tree that becomes the symbol of their bond. The novel explores their personal choices, changing life paths and efforts to rebuild themselves over time.
Presented as an initiatory and personal-development novel, the book addresses friendship, loyalty, resilience, life-changing decisions and self-reconstruction. Its strong connection to Oujda also gives the story a local dimension, with the city acting as a place of memory and transition.
