Souk Laklam: The Rhyming Maqama — Casablanca Theatre

On 19 September 2026 at 5 pm, Casablanca's Abdessamad El Kenfaoui Cultural Complex hosted « Souk Laklam Famgamat Al Mouchawacha Bel Qafia », produced by the Al Adwaa Theatre Club. Written and directed by Driss Sebti, the performance honours Moroccan theatre pioneer Tayeb Saddiki and explores language, rhyme, wordplay and the maqama tradition. Admission was announced as free.
