About Le Studio des Arts Vivants
A performance venue and an arts school
Le Studio des Arts Vivants occupies a distinctive position in Casablanca: it is both a venue for live performance and a school where children, teenagers and adults can develop artistic practice. This connection between learning and presentation is central to its identity. Students do not experience the stage only as spectators; when programming and availability allow, rehearsal and teaching can take place in a professional performance environment.
The model creates a direct pathway from training to public presentation. It is particularly valuable for younger participants, who can become familiar with rehearsal discipline, technical conditions and the collective work required to bring a performance to an audience.
Disciplines and teaching
The school’s activities span dance, theatre, music, singing, choir, piano, percussion, guitar, cinema and visual arts. Drawing and fine-art classes may be offered alongside physical coaching and movement-based practice. This range allows students to follow a single discipline or encounter the relationships between voice, body, image and stage presence.
Teaching is provided by a diverse team of practitioners and instructors. The emphasis is placed on regular practice, progression and creativity rather than on one-off entertainment workshops.
Live culture in Casablanca
As a performance venue, Le Studio contributes to Casablanca’s arts infrastructure by hosting productions and providing a professional setting for artistic education. Its programme should be checked directly, as class schedules, public performances and enrolment periods operate differently.
Continue through Casablanca’s cultural venues, discover upcoming performances and exhibitions, and compare the Studio with the city’s theatres, independent spaces and cultural institutes.
