About this event
The Film and Migration Festival will take place in Agadir from December 7 to 12, 2026. Founded in 2003 and organised by the Al Mobadara Atakafia association, the event uses cinema to illuminate the complexity of migratory experience: departure, waiting, borders, exile, return, family transmission, integration, discrimination and the construction of new forms of belonging.
The 2026 programme and screening venues will be released later and this listing will be updated with films, discussions and guests as they are announced. Through its subject, the festival creates a rare space where filmmaking meets social research, testimony and lived experience. It moves beyond statistics and abstract debate to place individual journeys at the centre of discussion. Its location in Agadir, an Atlantic city shaped by both internal and international mobility, gives particular resonance to the stories presented.
