“Agadir, l’Écrin” brings together twelve visual artists from the Souss-Massa region: Samira Aït El Maalem, Redouane Challaf, Rachid Fassih, Ismail Oulhaj Alla, Faissal Hmichane, Omar Ennaciri, El Imam Djimi, Aomar Ajbour, Abdelhadi Mourid, Hassan Abarou, Abdelaziz Ousalah and Youssef Ousaid.
Rather than following a single movement or manifesto, their works form a sensitive and diverse portrait of the region, exploring southern landscapes and light, abstraction, the human figure, silence and memory. The exhibition title also echoes the Amazigh word “agadir”, a fortified communal granary associated with preservation, sharing and transmission.
The exhibition runs at Espace Expo Zéphyr Agadir from August 6 to October 31, 2026. It is organised by the Mohammed VI Foundation for the Promotion of Social Works in Education and Training and Zéphyr Agadir.
