From July 22 to 25, 2026, Meknes hosts the sixth edition of the Aissawa Festival – Maqams and Rhythms of the World. The festival highlights Aissawa heritage, a musical and spiritual tradition closely connected with the city’s history, while encouraging dialogue with other artistic expressions.
Held under the theme “Sufism and the Unity of the Kingdom of Morocco,” the programme combines live music, academic discussions, exhibitions, training sessions and cultural activities across the city. Ticketed sessions begin at 9:30 PM each evening at El-Hedim Square. Tickets are listed at 100 MAD for standard admission, 200 MAD for Gold and 300 MAD for VIP.
