On Wednesday, 23 September 2026, Akim Omiri presents “Contexte” at Le Studio des Arts Vivants in Casablanca. His second show turns contemporary debates into sharp stand-up shaped by sarcasm, social observation and critical thinking.
Putting public debates back into context
Standardised education, social media, cancel culture and conspiracy theories are among the issues Omiri examines. His comedy explores the mechanisms, contradictions and grey areas behind them, shifting the audience’s perspective rather than simply reproducing slogans.
A comedian working across stage and radio
A comedian, writer and radio commentator, Akim Omiri works on stage, online and on air. He hosts “La Riposte” on Radio Nova. “Contexte” is co-written with Kaza, who also directs the show.
