Villa des Arts in Casablanca hosts the third edition of Emergence — Emerging Visual Artists Show from November 4 to December 17, 2026, organised by BASMA with support from Fondation AL MADA.
The programme is dedicated to Moroccan visual artists and artists residing in Morocco under the age of 40. Its aim is to provide professional visibility, an institutional exhibition space and concrete networking opportunities with galleries, curators, collectors and art-market professionals.
The programme combines a group exhibition, the AL MADA – Emergence Prize with several awards, masterclasses led by gallery owners and curators, as well as talks and workshops on the realities of artistic careers and professional development.
A selection from the show may also gain visibility through What’s On – 1-54 Marrakech 2027, creating a bridge between Morocco’s emerging art scene and international professional circuits.
Emergence forms part of BASMA’s mission to support young Moroccan visual creation. The third edition continues the legacy of the salon’s late founder, Ilyass, by strengthening access to networks of exhibition, mentoring and recognition.
Villa des Arts, the Fondation AL MADA cultural venue at 30 Boulevard Brahim Roudani, provides the institutional setting for this end-of-year group show.
