The Institut français in Oujda presents “Galerie des promesses”, an exhibition by Nadia Echchadli, from October 29 to November 20, 2026. The opening takes place on Thursday, October 29 at 7:00 pm.
Originally from Figuig and now based in Oujda, Nadia Echchadli holds a degree in plant biology and has developed a self-taught artistic practice over many years. Her work draws on a range of influences, with a particular interest in narrative figurative approaches.
Colour, observation and meditation play a central role in her process. For Echchadli, art is both a way of transforming inner reflection into visual language and a path toward serenity and a more attentive relationship with herself and others.
Her works emerge from a slow process combining contemplation, sensitivity and personal research. “Galerie des promesses” offers a chance to discover an artist rooted in Morocco’s Oriental region, whose path connects Figuig and Oujda and whose practice has developed outside traditional academic art circuits.
