Educational short films and civic engagement
The 11th Arab World Educational Short Film Festival will take place in Casablanca from 16 to 19 December 2026. Organised by the Manar El Hank Arts Association, this edition adopts the theme “Educational Short Film in the Service of Volunteering and Civic Action”. Its purpose is to connect film as a creative medium with public awareness, solidarity, education and community participation.
Screenings and learning activities
Organiser announcements describe a programme of educational short films from countries across the Arab world, conferences and discussions, meetings with filmmakers, and workshops for younger audiences and people interested in film production. The festival also intends to honour artists, educators and civil society personalities who contribute to community life.
What remains to be announced
Although the dates and general artistic direction are confirmed by the organisers’ public statement, individual film titles, jury members, screening venues, time slots and fees have not yet been established. Culturama does not recycle the 2025 edition’s programme as if it applied to 2026.
