About this event
120 young changemakers meeting across the Mediterranean
Essaouira hosts the ninth Euro-Mediterranean Young Leaders Forum from 7 to 9 November 2026. Initiated by the French Embassy in Morocco and the Institut français du Maroc with civil society partners, the gathering brings together around 120 young people engaged in NGOs, artistic projects, craftsmanship and entrepreneurship. Under the theme « Innovation serving Euro-Mediterranean youth », participants explore ways to respond collectively to the challenges affecting communities on both sides of the Mediterranean.
Workshops, training and cross-border cooperation
The announced format combines workshops, training sessions, discussions and professional encounters. Innovation is considered broadly, including social entrepreneurship, cultural initiatives, civic engagement and opportunities for emerging leaders to connect their experiences. The forum aims to foster partnerships and strengthen dialogue among young professionals and activists. The application notice does not provide a confirmed public timetable for each session or a list of speakers.
