The Goethe-Institut in Rabat presents ‘Exil’ (2020), a psychological thriller directed by Visar Morina, as part of its Goethe-Kino programme. Xhafer, a Kosovo-born professional living in Germany with his German wife, becomes increasingly convinced that he is being discriminated against at work. As mistrust grows, the film blurs the boundary between real exclusion and subjective interpretation. It explores identity, racism, belonging and the tensions of everyday relationships. Running time: 121 minutes. German-language screening with English subtitles.
