About this event
A celebration of literary expression
The Institut français de Tanger and Al Amana school bring the Readers’ League to its conclusion after the October opening session and November semi-final. Finalists present their understanding of books and demonstrate their ability to communicate ideas confidently. The challenge celebrates reading, interpretation, listening and young people's individual relationship with literature.
From classic tales to adventures
The six-book programme features works by Daudet, Maupassant, Pagnol, Pennac, Mourlevat and Tournier. Finalists revisit stories and share what characters, questions and themes mean to them. The event plans three distinctions: the jury prize, the audience prize and the best reader prize.
