Casablanca’s Mohamed Zefzaf Cultural Complex hosts a major classical concert on October 7, 2026 at 7 pm marking the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Germany and Morocco.
The programme brings together Germany’s Cardellino String Quartet — Johannes Krause and Clemens Ratajczak on violin, Juan Urena Hevia on viola and Emanuel Matz on cello — with American concert pianist Kimball Gallagher.
Two Morocco88 music clubs, the Morocco88 choir and clarinettist Adil Loissame also take part, creating an intergenerational encounter between international professionals and young Moroccan musicians.
Gallagher, a Juilliard graduate and founder of 88 International, has developed projects using music as a tool for youth empowerment, learning and civic engagement.
The concert is organised by AnouArts with 88 International, IMRI and the Mohamed Zefzaf Cultural Complex. Doors open at 6:30 pm and the concert begins at 7 pm. Tickets start at 100 MAD.
