About this event
On Friday, 30 October 2026, Tangier’s Riad Sultan Theatre hosts My Life, My Challenges and My Daughters, an autobiographical stage production led by Nadia Lamarti, with Fouzia Bloundi.
A personal story with universal resonance
A woman steps onto the stage not to complain, but to pass something on. Moving from childhood to motherhood and from losing her bearings to rebuilding her life, Nadia Lamarti combines humour, emotion and clear-eyed honesty. The performance explores female identity, family bonds, mental load, resilience, personal faith and what parents choose to transmit to their children.
A Belgian-Moroccan creation
Written by Nadia Lamarti and Saïd Ben Ali and directed by Saïd Ben Ali, the production features Nadia Lamarti and Fouzia Bloundi. Choreography is by Laurie Depas, with drawings and animation by Dina Hendrick and Yassine Hayani. It is produced by the Maison des Cultures et de la Cohésion Sociale de Molenbeek-Saint-Jean.
A journey between Belgium and Morocco
Created in Molenbeek, the show played three sold-out performances from 22 to 24 January 2026 before appearing at Festival Bruxellons! on 23 July. It was also presented at Espace Rivage in Rabat on 21 May 2026 at the invitation of the Hassan II Foundation.
