Hôtel de la paix, a Moroccan supernatural thriller directed by Jamal Belmejdoub, screens during the French Institute’s Horror Night on 28 October 2026 at 7 pm at Cinéma Sahara in Agadir.
In Marrakech, Karim and Mouna celebrate their wedding and the renovation of their hotel. When a plumber uncovers a mysterious object inside a wall, strange disturbances and terrifying events expose secrets hidden within the building.
The film stars Mohammed Choubi, Benaissa El Jirari, Sami Fekkak and Salwa Zarhane. It runs for 87 minutes, is performed in Moroccan darija with French subtitles and is recommended for viewers aged 12 and above. The programme also includes La Robe peau. Admission is reserved for French Institute members.
