On 21 October 2026 at 7 pm, Moroccan singer OUM brings Dialddar (“homemade”) to the open-air theatre at the French Institute in Agadir. The project centres on original songs in Moroccan darija, distinctive voices and richly textured percussion.
Many of the percussion instruments are handmade in Marrakech, giving the music a warm, organic character. OUM performs with a largely female international ensemble including Natascha Rogers, Cynthia Abraham, Lucile Chriqui and Ayda Benslimane, while Yacir Rami adds subtle oud textures.
