The 21st Timitar – Signs & Cultures Festival turns Agadir into a meeting point for Amazigh music and global sounds from July 23 to 25, 2026. Held under the theme “Amazigh Artists Welcome the Music of the World,” the festival unfolds across Place Al Amal and the Verdure Theatre, bringing together around thirty Moroccan and international artists. Timitar is built around musical dialogue rather than a simple succession of concerts. Ahwach traditions from Souss and southern Morocco meet Amazigh song, chaabi, Gnawa, rai, Saharan music, African voices, Arab pop and contemporary urban expression. The announced programme includes Najat Aatabou, Fatima Tihihite, Malouma, Larbi Imghrane, Zouhair Bahaoui, Zina Daoudia, Aïcha Koné, Hamid El Kasri, Ragheb Alama, Oudaden, Abeer Nehme and Fatima Tabaamrant. Detailed performance times have not yet been released.
