About Galerie 127
Opened in Marrakech in 2006 by Nathalie Locatelli, Galerie 127 became a pioneering venue devoted entirely to contemporary photography. It organised more than one hundred exhibitions, participated in fairs including Paris Photo and 1-54, and supported Moroccan and international photographers as well as photography publishing.
Crucially, its two physical galleries closed permanently in 2024. Galerie 127 now operates online, by appointment and through off-site exhibitions. It should no longer be listed as an ordinary walk-in gallery; consult the official programme for current projects.
