Instituto Cervantes – Agadir Extension

## The extension and its location The **Instituto Cervantes extension in Agadir** is connected to the **Marrakech centre** and operates at the **New University Complex in Cité Dakhla**. The official Marrakech website lists this separate Agadir teaching location and local contact details. It provides access to Spanish-language education within Souss–Massa, especially for students and adults seeking greater proficiency and opportunities for cultural exchange. ## Language education and cultural mission At network level, Cervantes offers **general and specialist Spanish courses**, conversational learning, preparation for **DELE qualifications** and the **Aula Virtual de Español** digital learning platform. The verified Agadir facility is a **university-based course extension**. No reliable evidence establishes that this location includes an independent public theatre, exhibition gallery or year-round media library. Facilities at the parent Marrakech centre should therefore not be copied into the Agadir description. ## Activity in 2026 and visiting advice The official site specifically announces **Spanish courses in Agadir for the 2026–2027 academic year**, confirming that the branch continues to be listed for teaching. Current group dates, fees, level testing and the exact classroom inside the university complex should be confirmed before travelling.
