La Kasbah Gallery occupies a restored riad in Essaouira’s medina. Its spaces extend across several levels around a courtyard, creating a dense route that differs from the conventional white-cube gallery format.
The venue presents painting, sculpture, objects and contemporary work. Its catalogue includes Moroccan and international artists, with particular attention to artists from Essaouira and southern Morocco.
A gallery designed for discovery
The variety of rooms allows different generations, styles and techniques to appear together. The gallery functions both as a commercial venue and as an accessible introduction to Moroccan artistic production for visitors.
The official website lists approximately 400 square metres on the ground floor, together with three upper levels. Exhibitions and represented artists can change regularly.
