About this event

Casablanca hosts the first edition of Morocco Design from October 5 to 7, 2026, a new event dedicated to contemporary Moroccan design, architecture and creative know-how.

Rather than being confined to a single fairground, Morocco Design is conceived as a route across the city: showrooms, studios, galleries, hotels and normally inaccessible architectural spaces become stages for discovering Moroccan designers, architects and makers.

The programme features names including Hamza Kadiri, Othmane Bengebara, Sophia Kacimi, Verneo Studio, Sana Benzaitar, Salima Filali and Myroc Studio. Villa Sahrai hosts several installations, while other locations are activated through projects conceived in direct dialogue with their architecture.

A major highlight is The Invisible Axis by Hamza Kadiri at Teatro Italia, opened exceptionally while still undergoing renovation. The unfinished building itself becomes part of the exhibition experience.

The first edition aims to present Moroccan design beyond conventional representations of craft, highlighting experimentation, materials, contemporary uses and connections with international creative scenes.
