La Galerie 38 looks back over four decades of Mohamed Mourabiti’s painting, from his early work to recent large-format canvases. Based in Tahannaout, the artist draws on the memory of places, spirituality, circular forms and maps to create surfaces that suggest what lies beyond the visible.
« Paraboles » traces the development of this practice since 1988. Mourabiti also founded Al Maqam, a creative residency space in Tahannaout. Press coverage gives 13 November as the closing date, while a specialist listing says 15 November; visitors should reconfirm.
