## About the centre and its status
The **IKLYLE Cultural Centre in Tétouan** is part of the network managed by the **Mohammed VI Foundation for the Promotion of Social Works in Education and Training**. Located on **Boulevard Moulay Al Abbas in Hay Madrassi**, in the former Al Malakiya school building, it combines a **media library, visual arts, music, photography, theatre and digital skills**. It is separate from Tétouan's municipal House of Culture and the Institut français. Participation is open to Foundation members and wider audiences according to membership and access conditions.
## Spaces, facilities and resources
The Foundation describes **reading and study resources**, dedicated facilities for **children aged 5–12** and **young people aged 13–16**, a **screening room**, multimedia services, Braille resources and specialist-led creative workshops. Activities cover **drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics, graphic design, photography, instrumental music and theatre**. An annual membership supports access to the media library and enrolment in separately priced workshops according to category. Current fees and eligibility should always be confirmed before registration.
## Documented cultural activities
The **2026 programme** demonstrates the centre's role as both a learning environment and an exhibition venue. In **June**, IKLYLE Cultural Days featured **“60 Years of Photography”**, a Gibraltar Photographic Society exhibition, Andalusian music, literary encounters and workshops. Summer and early autumn brought **“RAW Talents”** displays of participants' work in photography and other media. The **October** calendar includes **French-through-theatre workshops for children**, infographics and creative sessions, plus reading-club meetings: **Abdelfattah Kilito on 10 October** and a scheduled discussion around **Ahmed El Hadri on 24 October**. Applications to exhibit in the network's galleries during **2027** were advertised as open until **15 October 2026**, subject to the official call conditions.
## Events and artistic programmes
**Visitor information:** the Foundation lists opening times **Tuesday–Friday noon–8 pm and Saturday–Sunday 10 am–6 pm**, with separate registration hours.
