French Institute of Tétouan

## A place for learning and cultural encounters The Institut français de Tétouan, at 13 Rue Chakib Arsalane, combines French-language teaching and certification with a media library, film screenings, artistic events, talks and workshops. Its work belongs to Tétouan's wider creative landscape, shaped by fine arts, architecture, music and audiovisual practice. The institute collaborates with cultural associations, educational establishments and local audiences to support dialogue through artistic experience. ## Arts and cultural programming in 2026 Its Jean-Luc Godard screening room hosts cinema and multidisciplinary audiovisual formats. In April 2026, the institute screened Hicham Lasri's « Thank You Satan » with the director present for a discussion. The November 2026 programme includes « Game Night » events on 7 and 28 November within Novembre Numérique, using a large screen to explore video games, interactive media and digital culture. A wider September–December programme also includes media-library activities and artistic projects whose access conditions vary. ## Practical visitor information - **Address:** 13 rue Chakib Arsalane, 93000 Tétouan, Maroc - **Telephone:** +212 539 71 43 11 - **Official programme:** [https://if-maroc.org/tetouan/](https://if-maroc.org/tetouan/) - **Opening hours:** Visitor reception at 13 Rue Chakib Arsalane.
