Factory of Hope — Meriam Benkirane in Marrakech

Meriam Benkirane’s « Factory of Hope » at La Galerie 38 in Marrakech features paintings and works on paper in which architectural structures, mechanical forms and imagined spaces respond to an era of information overload and crisis. Colour and the physical act of painting provide a sensitive alternative to digital speed. Born in Casablanca, the artist increasingly favours direct oil painting over fully computer-planned compositions. The display includes eleven oil paintings and five mixed-media works on paper, according to Artmena, and runs through 28 November 2026.
